Thank You from NYC Pride

We want to share our deepest gratitude to the many people who worked tirelessly to bring NYC’s 2025 Pride March and other LGBTQIA+ events to life.

Closing out Pride Month, we reflect on a recent quote from one of our 2025 Grand Marshals, Marti Gould Cummings: “We must never lose our joy and our hope, because that means they have won.”

It’s been a challenging year for many in our community, but thanks to you, the NYC Pride team is full of hope. Before we take some much-needed rest, we want to share our deepest gratitude to the many people who work tirelessly to bring NYC’s Pride March and other LGBTQIA+ events to life.

Thank you to our volunteers
: you are the heart and soul of NYC Pride. Your enthusiasm and dedication brings so much life and spirit to our work - and our entire community.

Thank you to our Grand Marshals: for rising up and sharing this March with us; for doing the work every day to protect and uplift our community; and for demonstrating to our LGBTQIA+ youth that they deserve to not only feel seen, but to thrive.

Thank you to the 75,000 marchers and more than 2 million spectators
, who brought the energy, stood proudly, and spread the love.

Thank you to our donors
. Hundreds of you stepped up to the plate when corporations stepped back, raising more than $130,000. You helped us protect NYC’s iconic Pride March at a time when the world needed to see the enduring spirit and unity of our community.

Thank you to our community partners
, who work tirelessly to serve and advocate for NYC’s LGBTQIA+ community every day.

Thank you to our corporate partners
, for showing up and for sticking with us as we navigate turbulent times together. We’re grateful for your support at a time when it is not politically convenient.

Thank you to our board and members
, whose ongoing support is the foundation upon which NYC Pride thrives.

Thank you to our small but mighty staff
. You put so much heart into creating safe, accessible, inclusive spaces for our community to gather, and the entire community is better for it.

And lastly, we want to thank our community
. Whether you’re a native New Yorker or a first-time visitor for Pride Month festivities, you are our source of strength, hope, and passion in this challenging time. It is an honor to be in this fight - in this march - alongside you.
