Tennessee Williams: Portrait of a Gay Icon is a one man play about the playwright Tennessee Williams.
Williams is on a lecture tour and becomes increasingly inebriated during the course of the lecture, eventually walking out after insulting his audience. The play had a wildy successful try-out in San Antonio and now the play comes to New York with John Stillwaggon playing Tennessee Williams. John Stillwaggon is a recognized name in the off/Off-Off Broadway community as well as nationally. ReviewFix named him one of the top 10 theatre professionals in New York City.
