If you are a member of the media working on coverage of WorldPride 2019 | Stonewall 50, here’s how to engage with us:
We are now accepting applications for 2019 Media Credentials. Don’t delay, the application will close on Friday, June 21, 2019 art 5:00pm EDT.
Media outlets seeking to gain access to any of our 2019 events should first complete the 2019 Media Credential Application. Decisions on applications will begin to be issued on May 28, 2019. For applications received after May 28th, decisions will be rendered on a rolling basis, within 72 hours of submitting an application.
Please note: Media Credentials will only be provided to staff or freelancers on assignment from qualified media outlets. For the purposes of this application, Heritage of Pride defines a “Media Outlet” as a publication, website, television or streaming service program that creates content or media in the public interest.
New for 2019, our NYC Pride March Community Photographer program provides a limited number of credentials for independent pro and hobbyist photographers. Photographers not working on assignment for a media outlet and/or those without an established relationship with an image servicing agency can be credentialed to shoot the event through this program. This type of credential is only available for the 2019 NYC Pride March on Sunday, June 30.
